There are different ways you can do this for example
- introduce a fitness session to any club or activity you already attend - a bridge club or a lunch club or a church group for example
- join a private gym or fitness centre
- find out what your local authority has on offer
- see if your local branch of Age Uk organises the excellent Generation Games
- find a personal trainer if you want the benefits of someone to motivate and support you but can't, or don't want to, join a gym
